LOVE the salad!!! Thank you! I didn’t have just lentils so I used a mix of lentil, mung, garbanzo and something else (cant recall) and its wonderFULL. YaY…sooo easy…sooo good…You ROCK! Oh and the feta just makes it decadent..mmmmmmmmm.

Hey chica. So what would I use if I didn’t have my own sprouted lentils? Would I just cook and cool store bought lentils? Loved your video too…it was spunky…one of the things I love about your personality.

Hi Ashley,

I would recommend sprouting some lentils! You get much more nutrition from a sprouted raw lentil compared to a cooked. I will be posting about the sprouting process! It is super easy and fun to grow sprouts in your kitchen.

That being said if you wanted to use cooked lentils instead of sprouting them I would recommend rinsing the cooked lentils in cool water before adding them to the salad. Take care not to over cook the lentils. You would not want them mushy.

Enjoy the salad! It would be great at the park or on one of your adventures!

Great vid, and beautiful kitchen! I second the motion to name it “Live Lentil Salad,” that’s a good one. I’ll add this to my recipes-to-make!

Great job! Good for you for putting yourself out there. The recipe looks great and simple to make. I would call it Live Lentil Salad.
I love cheese, so why not? You could specify raw cheese…
Definitely want to see your face more..can you set up the camera differently for the next one?
Keep up the great work! You’ve inspired me to get going and do some videos of my own!
Thank you…

It looks great. I will probably pass on the feta simply because I would have to buy it commercial made. I might add some of my mom’s chevre to it though.

Looks really good and nice video. I have all the ingredients except for the sprouted lentils. Will sprout some lentils tomorrow. Lentil Salad sounds good as a name 🙂
