Kale Chips are one of the yummiest ways to get in your greens!
In this video I’ll show you how to make kale chips with the cashew cheese sauce. So good you’ll be surprised how fast you can eat a bunch of kale! Always make sure to drink lots of water when eating addicting dehydrated food.
2 bunches kale
1 batch cashew cheese sauce
Pour cashew cheese sauce on kale pieces and toss kale. Set on dehydrator sheets. Dehydrate for 2 hours at 135 then 4 to 6 hours at 115 until crispy. Enjoy!

Hi , Happy to have found your site ! I have made Kale chips before but with less ingredients for the cashew sauce. Can’t wait to try these ! Can you please tell me how you store your kale chips and the crackers you make with flax ? Thank you so much !
Hi Pat,
I store them in an airtight Tupperware container. I usually eat mine within a few days, but if you store them longer (2 + weeks) the kale will absorb moisture from the air and you may need to put them back in the dehydrator for a 20 minute re-crisp. Enjoy!!
Hey Christal!
I don’t know if you could use an oven. The temperature needs to be low and have continual air flow so things dry out evenly and you don’t get patches of dry and patches of wet areas that will rot. If you want to make healthy raw snacks a good dehydrator is a great investment, as it will greatly open your options.
I recommend the Excalibur dehydrator, I think its the best on the market. The cheap round dehydrators that have the heat coming from the bottom are crappy! They unevenly dry and typically don’t have a temperature control.
Hi Suzanne!
I don’t have a dehydrator. How would I modify this recipe to use an oven instead?
